This is true for Momentum 2, but even when connected wirelessly, it can get a lot louder than many headphones.
When the headset is plugged in, the noise is already significantly reduced. However, when the headset is turned on, the active noise cancellation is switched on and the environment is greatly reduced even when music is not heard. It is worth mentioning a little detail here. When the headset is turned on, noise cancellation is automatically turned on and it is not possible to turn off this feature while listening to music wirelessly.
